Find cheaper LPG when traveling. It’s now easy!

Since COVID-19 changed your travel plans, are you one of the Aussies discovering how beautiful is the country WE live in?  Millions who were born here have never explored their own backyard.

But that has all changed and so have we.

We’ve known for years that our website was the most used by grey nomads to find cheaper LPG for their cooking, heating, refrigeration, etc.

However, with travel restrictions, hundreds of thousands of younger families have said “Let’s get some sort of RV and see Oz”

So how have we made it easier?

We have done what BILLIONS of people in 51 countries overseas have done in recent years – downloaded the free and ad-free app, What3Words from either the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple store:

Here is a typical GPS coordinate used by Google Maps for example:

-33.821263909335194, 151.1214168556039. That is one of Bunnings’ newest stores at 461 Victoria Rd, Gladesville NSW 2111. Now as anyone familiar with Victoria Road knows – that’s a helluva busy road! Not only that – Bunnings Gladesville has practically no above-ground parking.

This is the entrance to Bunnings Gladesville, NSW, store

This is the entrance to underground parking. See the 2.7m height barrier!

Believe us – if you have a caravan or motorhome above 2.7m you are not going to find parking on-site.  All surrounding streets have restricted parking. You want to exchange an 8.5kg gas bottle for a full one, which, with gas weighs around 16-17kgs. So what are your options?

Easy. Take your vehicle to the tradies’ entrance. It has a 20m clearance.

And, if you have the free What3Words app on your phone, instead of a long GPS coordinate,  you just enter ///wire.view.scarf into the free app and the app will guide you right to the tradies’ entrance.

There are so many ways the What3Words app can improve your life. It has taken the world by storm since it was released in 2013 in England. If you would like to learn more about it,  join our Facebook group for Aussie What3Worders by clicking on this link:
